Those are the most popular treks: Everest Base Camp, Annapurna Base Camp, and Annapurna Circuit Trek. During the peak trekking seasons Autumn and Spring we recommended adventure and wilderness trek Manaslu Circuit Trek.  

Manaslu Circuit Trek is the least visited (as compared to Everest and Annapurna region) trip but offers the ultimate adventure. This trek is rising as an alternative to the Annapurna Circuit Trek, and trekkers are more interested in this remote tea house trek because of the amazing experience one can get in this heavenly place.  

Where is Mount Manaslu

Manaslu trek is Situated in the Gorkha District of the western and northern Himalayan region. Mount Manaslu is the eighth tallest mountain peak in the world (8156m).

Manaslu trek you will circumnavigate Mt. Manaslu and hike up to Larke La Pass starting your trek from Soti Khola or Arughat and concluding at Besi Sahar. This is a restricted trekking area so you need to have a special permit and at least two trekkers along with your trekking guide. On this trek, you will experience a different culture and traditions like Tibetan. 

Best Season

All the trekking in Nepal is best during the peak seasons, Autumn and Spring Manaslu trek is the best trekking trail at the moment. From March to May blossom of Rhododendrons and September to November will be good for mountain views of the Himalayan. The Spring season is best for climbing the base camp of Mount Manaslu and you will see the traffic of trekkers during this time on the route.

Manaslu Trekking Permits and Cost 

Manaslu Trek you need to have a special trekking permit.  Manaslu Conservation Area project permit and Annapurna Conservation Area Project permit and a special permit will be needed to enter the Trek. It is included in the special trekking region in Nepal.  Normally Manaslu trek permits will Issue one week then if trekkers want more days then count by days. If you are trekking from September to November it will cost USD 100 for the first week per person and USD 10 will be added per day thereafter. If you are traveling between December and August, the cost will be USD 50 for the first week per person and USD 7 will be per day thereafter.

Manaslu trek needs a government license holder guide. Guide cost per day is USD 20 to 25 and porter cost is about USD 15 to 20 inclusive of food accommodation and insurance. 

Altitude Sickness

Manaslu Trek is a restricted region trek and hikes up to the larky la pass (5106m), which is the highlight of this trek. when you do this trek you should be careful of altitude sickness. As much as we go high. The level of oxygen decreases so if you have some difficulty in your health, just inform your guide so that you will be rescued in time. If there will be severe conditions.
