Where is Mount Manaslu 

Manaslu trek is Situated in the Gorkha District of the western and northern Himalayan region. Mount Manaslu is the eighth tallest mountain peak in the world (8156m).

Manaslu trek, you will circumnavigate Mt. Manaslu and hike up to Larke La Pass, starting your tour from Soti Khola or Arughat and concluding at Besi Sahar. This is a restricted trekking area, so you need a special permit and at least two trekkers along with your trekking guide. On this trek, you will experience a different culture and traditions like Tibetan. 

Best Season 

All the trekking in Nepal is best during the peak seasons; the Autumn and Spring Manaslu trek is the best trekking trail. From March to May blossom of Rhododendrons and September to November will be suitable for mountain views of the Himalayan. The Spring season is best for climbing the base camp of Mount Manaslu, and you will see the traffic of trekkers during this time on the route.

Manaslu Trekking Permits and Cost 

Manaslu Trek, you need to have a special trekking permit. Manaslu Conservation Area and Annapurna Conservation Area Project permits, and a special license will be required to enter the trek. It is included in the particular trekking region in Nepal. Usually, Manaslu trek permits will be issued in one week. Then, if trekkers want more days, count by days. If you are trekking from September to November will cost USD 100 for the first week per person, and USD 10 will be added per day after that. If you travel between December and August, the cost will be USD 50 for the first week per person and USD 7 per day after that.

Manaslu trek needs a government license holder guide. The guide cost per day is USD 20 to 25, and the porter cost is about USD 15 to 20, including food, accommodation and insurance. 

Altitude Sickness

Manaslu Trek is a restricted region trek and hikes up to the larky la pass (5106m), which is the highlight of this trek. When you do this trek, you should be careful of altitude sickness as much as we go high. The oxygen level decreases, so if you have some difficulty in your health, inform your guide so that you will be rescued in time if there are severe conditions.
