Best Time For Nagarkot Sunrise view

Nagarkot Sunrise Sunset View

Among many others, we perceive that the weather of Kathmandu is its best character. Throughout the year, the climate is warm and welcoming. Even winter is about 5 degrees Celsius, and summer doesn’t exceed 30 degrees Celsius, meaning you can visit Nagarkot throughout the year without considering the weather. However, Autumn (September, October, and November) is when the mountains can be seen up to the Evening. In spring (March, April, and May), the views are visible in the morning and blocked in the afternoon. These are the month when Nagarkot is vibrant and crowded. It’s the peak season for trekkers and festive tours. Even Everest Base Camp is crowded during these months.

Other months, i.e., summer and winter, are relatively calm and peaceful, allowing you to explore Nagarkot very peacefully. The mountains might not be seen in Summer, but the greenery and after-rain view make it magical. The same goes for the summer. Just let us know when you will be free, and the booking shall be made.

The best time for the Nagarkot sunrise view is between 5 to 6 in the morning. The Nagarkot sunset view can be seen between 5 to 7 pm, depending on the season. You should reach the view tower at this time.

People and Culture in  Nagarkot

The ancient tradition of Nagarkot (which represents the culture of the whole of Nepal) is an exceptional blend of Hindu and Buddhist ethos. Bhaktapur, the City’s Core cultural wealth, was developed between the 15th and 18th centuries when the Newari people used to lead the valley. The skill of the local artisans, especially the Newari people’s wood, stone, and metal casting, is still praised by the world. There weaving, pottery, and painting are also part of people’s lives.

After the 18th century, the Bhramin, Chhetri, Magar, Gurung, and Rai people from hills and mountains started to migrate here. Their entry changed Kathmandu’s economy and significantly impacted the local culture. This was when the Gurung people began to reside in Nagarkot. These Gurung people have their Launage, Gurung traditional dress, and different kinds of food. They are usually good at making buff items, local alcoholic drinks, and warm Tibetan soup.
